KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is to increase the number of flights between Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, meaning better connections for customers travelling with them from Australia. From 29Oct12, KLM will add an additional three weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam, taking the number of weekly services on the route to ten.
The extra flights, part of the airline’s northern winter schedule, take to 68 the number of weekly connections KLM offers from Australia to Europe through a codeshare partnership with Malaysia Airlines. The three new flights between Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam will depart every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 09:50, arriving in Amsterdam at 15:20. The additional flights from Amsterdam will depart at 12:35 every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, arriving back in Kuala Lumpur at 07:20 the next day, to connect with onward flights to Australia.
KLM operates a combination of Boeing 777-200 and Boeing 747-400 aircraft between Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam.
